Quentin Tarantino's "Pulp Fiction" Chevy Malibu, stolen from set in '94, recovered in 2013

VICTORVILLE, Calif. - Director Quentin Tarantino's classic 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu was stolen from the set of the movie Pulp Fiction in 1994.

Fast forward 19 years, to 2013 - the cherry red classic car driven by John Travolta's character, Vince Vega, has been recovered by investigators, CBS Los Angeles reports.

Don't you love happy endings?

A San Bernardino County sheriff's deputy found two men stripping the car in Victorville, Calif., just miles from Hollywood, on April 18.

The deputy ran the VIN number on the car and discovered it linked to a vehicle in Oakland.

Then police in Oakland looked into it and realized the number had been cloned and the car was, in fact, Tarantino's.

The man who owned the vehicle is not believed to be connected with the theft.

It was unclear if Chevy Malibu had been returned to Tarantino.
